Victor Vargas Represents Team Mexico at the 33rd World Championship

The Vargas family organized a CIPS-M Big Game World Championship and the 2024 German National Championship — placing Top Anglers among a handful of charter companies worldwide with international tournament organizing credentials. At the 33rd CIPS-M Big Game World Championship in France, founder Victor Vargas captained a team that placed 1st on two of three fishing days. Jason Bailey, part of the Top Anglers team, earned a bronze medal representing Team USA at the 2025 Pan-American Billfish Championship in Panama.

The Baja California Sur team also placed 3rd at the XIX Big Game Trolling Mexican National Tournament in Mazatlán, earning the role of official backup team for the 34th World Championship in Ravenna, Italy (2026).
