What was biting
Dorado (mahi-mahi)
Dorado gave steady action all period, including a couple’s trip on the Duetto that came back to the marina with a beautiful fish.
Wahoo
Wahoo were strong this period: fast strikes and long runs on the offshore grounds.
Striped marlin
Striped marlin were around on the deeper grounds. We encourage releasing billfish and follow the local rule of one per boat per day.
Shortfin mako shark
A mako shark, the fastest shark in the ocean, was the most unusual catch of the period.
Sierra
Sierra added quick light-tackle action close to shore.
