1. Booking and Payment Terms

  • A deposit or full payment is required to confirm your reservation.

  • Remaining balances must be paid prior to departure unless other arrangements have been approved.

  • All prices are quoted in USD and may change without notice; confirmed bookings will be honored at the agreed rate.

  • Payments can be made via approved online platforms, cash, or credit card (where available).

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation terms are as follows:

  • More than 72 hours before your scheduled trip: 75% refund.

  • 72–48 hours before your scheduled trip: 50% refund.

  • Less than 48 hours before the trip or same day: No refund (0%).

  • No-shows, seasickness, or returning early: No refund. Customer also has the obligation to pay any remaining balance (food, drinks, incidentals, and fishing licenses).

  • Port closed by authorities (due to weather or safety conditions): 100% refund or option to reschedule your trip (subject to availability).

  • Mechanical issues on single-engine boats: Refund accordingly to hours remaining.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

3. Weather Policy

Your safety is our top priority.

  • If the port is closed or the captain determines conditions are unsafe, your trip will be rescheduled or refunded in full.

  • Light rain or mild conditions do not qualify for cancellation unless safety is compromised.

  • The captain's decision on weather and sea conditions is final.

4. Safety and Conduct

  • Guests must follow all safety instructions given by the captain and crew.

  • The captain reserves the right to modify or cancel a trip for safety or disciplinary reasons.

  • Consumption of alcohol is allowed in moderation. Illegal drugs and disorderly conduct are strictly prohibited.

  • The captain may terminate the trip without refund if guests engage in unsafe, disrespectful, or illegal behavior.

  • If fishing gear is damaged by the customer due to inappropriate handling, reparations must be paid.

5. Catch Policy

We operate in compliance with all local and federal Mexican fishing regulations.

  • Mexican fishing permits allow one billfish (marlin or sailfish) per boat per day. Top Anglers strongly encourages catch and release for all billfish, but it is within the angler’s right to keep one.

  • Most species allow 5 fish per license per day. Dorado and roosterfish are limited to 2.5 per license per day (a solo angler keeps 2, but two anglers sharing a boat can keep 5 between them).

  • Fish cleaning and filleting services are available at the dock for an additional fee (not included in the charter price).

  • Please respect protected species and local sustainability rules at all times.

6. Liability Waiver

All passengers acknowledge that ocean activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to seasickness, slips, sunburn, or equipment-related accidents.

Top Anglers Sportfishing Charters, its owners, and crew are not responsible for injuries, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the trip, except in cases of proven negligence.

By boarding the vessel, you agree to these terms and release the company from liability.

7. Privacy Policy

We value your privacy. Top Anglers Sportfishing Charters collects personal information (such as your name, phone number, and email) only to process bookings and communicate with you.

We do not sell or share your information with third parties except as required for payment processing or legal compliance.

You may request to update or delete your personal data by contacting us at topanglers@gmail.com.

8. Image & Media Policy

Photos and videos taken during our charters may be used for promotional purposes on our website and social media channels.

If you prefer not to appear in these materials, please inform our crew before departure.
