Each option in brief

Top Anglers

The Vargas family has run Top Anglers from Marina Principal since 2004. The 20 boats on our site go from a 23-foot panga to a 60-foot Hatteras, with live prices from $453. Every price includes one Mexican fishing license (each extra is $29) and there is no booking fee. Best for groups that want to choose the exact boat, families, and anyone who wants to talk to the owners.

Pisces Sportfishing

The longest-running fleet in Cabo (since 1980), with 34 boats from standard boats to 116-foot yachts and a well-known conservation record. Inclusions vary by boat category. Best for first-timers who want the oldest name in the marina.

Picante Sportfishing

A tournament fleet of mostly Cabo Yachts, company-owned, with no pangas or budget boats; entry price is $1,362 for a half day. Best for experienced anglers chasing billfish on tournament boats.

Cabo Magic

Luxury-first charters from 35-foot sportfishers to a 92-foot superyacht, starting at $1,500. Best for celebrations, corporate groups and multi-day trips where comfort matters as much as fishing.

Lands End Charters

A large fleet of 33 boats with the lowest entry price we found ($315 for a 22-foot boat). With a fleet that size, confirm which boat and captain you get, and whether licenses are included.

FishingBooker

A booking marketplace, not a charter company. Useful for comparing many operators in one place; the platform’s rules apply to changes and cancellations, and operators pay a commission on each booking.

Detailed comparisons

How we compared these companies

We looked at what a guest can check before booking: when the company started, how many boats it lists and their sizes, the lowest published half-day price, what that price includes, and how you book. We used each company's own website for their figures and our booking system for ours. We did not rank on reviews here, because review counts change weekly; check Google and TripAdvisor for current scores.

Prices in Cabo are usually per boat, not per person. The things that most often change the final bill are fishing licenses (required for everyone aboard 12 and older), live bait, and whether taxes and dock fees are included, so ask about those first. See our fleet and live prices or request a booking.
