The classic Baja fishing boat. Pangas are nimble, shallow-draft boats built for inshore species like roosterfish, sierra and snapper, and they reach rocky points and shallow water that bigger boats can't. The most affordable way to fish Cabo, and the way locals have fished these waters for generations.

Where does it leave from?
Marina Principal, Cabo San Lucas. We send the exact meeting point and departure time with your confirmation.
What is a panga?
A panga is the traditional Mexican fishing boat: an open, outboard-powered hull. Pangas are nimble and fuel-efficient and can work shallow inshore water that larger sportfishers cannot reach.
Can a panga go offshore for marlin?
Pangas are built for inshore and nearshore fishing. For marlin, sailfish and other offshore species we recommend a 30-foot or larger sportfisher, although in season dorado and even striped marlin are sometimes caught close to shore.
