That morning, the sun was just rising over the Sea of Cortez when Tristan got the first bite. What followed was the kind of story he'll be telling for decades: an 8-foot, 140-pound striped marlin, reeled in with determination and cheered on by his family and our crew. That catch earned him a celebratory Cuban cigar (don't worry—just for the photo 😄).
But the excitement didn’t stop there.
