- Catch limits (NOM-017-PESC-1994): up to 10 fish per angler per day, no more than 5 of one species, 2 dorado and 2 roosterfish; by law 1 billfish per angler (sharks also 1 per angler, closed in Pacific waters May 1 – July 31), but in Cabo we follow a local rule of 1 billfish per boat per day, and we encourage releasing all billfish.
